Eckert & Ziegler: Gewinnrückgang für 2013 erwartet [ Ad-hoc Meldung gemäß §15 WpHG – ISIN DE 0005659700 ]
Berlin, 28.01.2014. Auf der heutigen Sitzung des Aufsichtsrates der Eckert & Ziegler Strahlen- und Medizintechnik AG (ISIN DE0005659700) wurden die vorläufigen Zahlen für das Geschäftsjahr 2013 erörtert. Nachdem zunächst noch ein starkes viertes Quartal 2013 erwartet wurde, ergaben erste Auswertungen jedoch eine nur leicht überdurchschnittliche Entwicklung.
Für das Geschäftsjahr 2013 wird daher mit einem Rückgang des Jahresüberschusses um 15-20% gegenüber dem Vorjahr (1,95 EUR/Aktie) gerechnet. Damit ändert sich auch die Basis für die Prognose des Jahres 2014, die aber in jedem Fall entlang des langfristigen Wachstumstrends verläuft.
Alle Zahlen sind vorläufig und stehen unter dem Vorbehalt der Abschlussprüfung sowie der Feststellung des Abschlusses durch den Aufsichtsrat. Die geprüften Zahlen werden am 27.03.2014 mit der Veröffentlichung des Jahresabschlusses bekannt gegeben.

Eckert & Ziegler: Drop in Profits for 2013 Expected
Berlin, January 28, 2014. Today’s meeting of the Supervisory Board of Eckert & Ziegler Strahlen- und Medizintechnik AG (ISIN DE0005659700) discussed the preliminary results for fiscal year 2013. Despite previous expectations of a strong fourth quarter of 2013, initial analysis has revealed only slightly above-average performance.
As a result, a year-on-year drop in net income for the year of 15% to 20% (€ 1.95 per share) is anticipated for fiscal year 2013. This also changes the basis of the forecast for 2014, which is, however, still following the pattern of long-term growth.
All figures are provisional and are subject to an audit and the approval of the financial statements by the Supervisory Board. The audited results will be published along with the annual financial statements on March 27, 2014.
